I had the pleasure of enjoying fish and chips from Riba fish&chips. It was absolutely delightful! The chef, who is also the owner, did an incredible job—frying the fish to perfection. Unlike many other places where the batter is often soggy, here it was wonderfully crisp, light, and golden. The chips were equally impressive—fresh, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. At other places, I’ve often felt like the chips were fried yesterday, microwaved, and then refried, leaving them dry and unappetizing. But not here! Everything tasted fresh and spot on. This is easily one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing food! So fresh and tasty! Snapper and chips the best we’ve had ever… Very clean wiping each table as they left, friendly staff and even got a real fork to eat with! Well priced would highly recommend 😆

We ordered 2 Hawaiian burgers & nuggets and chips for the grandson. Old school fresh as, normal size burgers with fresh lettuce and decent thickness mince patties. Chips really fresh oil used and very tasty. Absolutely recommended. Just like the takeaways of the 80's. And one nugget is all that's left...

Those of us from the deep south know our fish n chips. There's one on every corner. But since moving to Auckland, it's hard to find a proper fish n chip shop. Until I started going to Riba. Great chips, great menu, not expensive. Good staff. Supreme food, and perfect spot to take your food up the hill for a sunset picnic outing. Couldn't recommend more for a local chip shop!!!!
